Hey guys it's been awhile since i've posted in this section. So basically I have 2 clownfish that have paired up. So basicaly today they have been doing a dance like thing that looks like their having a seizure. For some reason I seem to remember someone saying that that is like their mating dance. Does my memory serve me right?

The male will lay on his side and quiver. This is a show of submission to his female. They will be a mated pair when you have a spawn.(eggs) How long have they been together? It took mine about two years, I got them as juvinelles, they just had their first spawn on the 23rd. You can watch for them to clean a spot on the rock near their host or if no host their favorite hang out place. They will keep picking at it with their mouths this is where they will lay their eggs. The female will lay and the male will swim over them to fertilize. I did not notice any kind of mating behavior other than the rock preparing.
