Brooklynella is commonly referred to as "clownfish disease" however, it is a hightly contagious parasite which can effect any fish exposed to it. Its seems to appear most frequently in wild clowns, thus the name, and, additionally, the encouragment of hobbyist to purchase "tank raised" rather than wild clownfish.
