i recently added a little white anenome and a false percula clown to my tank and the clown just stays in the upper corner of the tank and really doesnt move from that spot.... i was hoping he would go hang out in the anenome but he pretty much doesnt move form that corner... anyway that i can get him to go near it or just leave it alone he seems kinda intimidated - i have a sailfin tang and heniochis both considerably bigger in the tank as well

To answer your question, there is no proven way to get an anemone fish to go into an anemone. Getting an anemone that is the clownfishes natural host will help but its not a guarantee.
Your description of little white anemone is a bit concerning. I am wondering what kind of anemone it is, and looking for more information about your tank. Specifically the age of the set up, the lighting type and wattage, tank size including height. This will help determine if the anemone you have will recover in your tank. The description of white leads me to be about 99% positive its a bleached animal as there is no such thing as a healthy white anemone. HTH

How recently did you add it? It could still be acclimating.
Could it be a Sebae Anenome? Mine is whitish.
As far as hosting, my clarkii clown killed a bubble tip anenome by loving it to death she currently has a sebae and a condy and has claimed them both and i can't get my maroon to host with any anenome.
It is really a crap shoot.

Well aside from it hosting your clowns... without a pic I cannot say 100% but from your description and your set up I can say with 99% certainty its prob a bit bleached and in time I can say with 100% certainty it will be totally bleached if your lights arent addressed. White anemones are typically not healthy, although LTA's can have a cream/yellowish/light tan look to them and thats considered healthy. What isnt healthy is bleach white to translucent or anything in between in appearance.
Do you know what kind of anemone it is? Condy, Bubble tip...etc etc..

Either give it to someone that has the right set up for it. Or, look into more intense lighting and start spot feeding it regularly until it regains its color. A diet of small minced raw marine foods mixed with selcon or superselco and administered a 3 times a week will help. Ultimately lighting is the number one issue to address.
