ok iv had the same clownfish and anemone for around 4 yrs, about a month ago my bta was very spread out with long tentacles kinda like a lta, then i noticed one day my clown fish pulled a big hunk off the nem and ate it, i figured i wasnt feeding him enough so i trippled up on the food for him. now the nem looks like it is half the size it used to be and doesnt have the lta look . resembles more of a bubble tip, after watching the clown for several days he seems to be abusing the thing, sucking and biting on it constantly. anyone no the reason for this? oh yea he is a maroon clown

Maroons have been known to do this. They can really cause some damage to anemones if they get in the mood to do so.

Does the anemone seem to be deflating or moving at all or is it taking it? Some can withstand the abuse, others can not.
