I have had my clowns for a year and a half in the same tank. And in the last week my female occelaris has become aggressive and started nipping at me.I am wondering if maybe they are getting ready to spawn or if they possible already have.It seems like the male and the female are protecting a certain cave from me.Any info would be appreciated thx in advance

I am not sure if they are protecting something in the cave but in general mine always pecks my hand if I ever dip my hand in the tank, not just certain area neither. My rule of thumb is if I don't have to dip my hand then I just leave the clowns alone.

has that always been there "host"....if not then maybe they have just finally decided to claim a nice acre of the tank and are now very protective of it...
