Clownfish shaking tail?

He does it around fish and when fish aren't around. Someone told me that its wanting to mate, but I've had it all by itself for 6 months and didn't know if i should add another one
 
I have two false clowns. I just saw the female swoops down into the sandbed and shake its tail in it tonight for the first i notice. They are a mated pair but never have had eggs yet. I dont know about the sand thing means

my maroon clown does that as well. but its around the LTA. i always thought he was making room for the LTA when its in full bloom
