Clowns acting weird

Hey all,
This last week I have noticed that my two clown fish have been hanging out in thecorner of my tank. Not together. I will stay there and after a few the other one will some and releave the other. Is there a chance that they have eggs over there? I cant really see in the corner because of my rock work. So does anyone have an idea whats going on in the corner of my tank?

what kind of clowns are they? i had 3 occ. and they did this from time to time, but theyre really young so they probably didnt have eggs. maybe its just a quirk.

i have two clarkiis that do that....especially when its night time...they both go and sit over in the corner against each other...but during the day they usually chill right above it or near it...its like their lil "nest" its all dug out and everything....maybe its just a behavior of them i dno? but they ahve always done this ever since i got them

It is common for clownfish to "nest" about the tank if they have no anemone to nest in, that’s normal. If you do have egg sacks you could use a small plastic dental mirror to check on their existence/progress look for the clowns mouthing small sacks on a smooth surface. If you don’t want the hassle and expense of a real host some people have success with fake (rubber) Anemones and even Koosh balls sometimes.
