i have two clarkii clowns, i have had them in the tank for almost 7-8 months. i have recently added a carpet annonomee (i can't spell) to the tank 3 weeks ago. since that time my two clowns have changed from the yellowish orange to an almost black shade. they now look like black and whit stripped clowns. is this becouse of the anneome? and is this normal? or should i be concerned?
the tank peramiters are all where they should be. and the fish are behaving as thay always have.

Your clarkiis probably just matured....mine changed from a dirty yellow to black and some yellow...Also my clarkiis become pale when the lights are out and when switched back on the color returns to normal...I wouldn't worry about it....

i'm not after looking at the pictures for the aquacultered and the wild clarkiis on this site. the wild ones were much darker in color. so i think it may be relater d to the recent addition of the annomee. ( i can never spell that)
