Clowns disappearing

I have a 55g that has been up and running for 8 months now. I have a yellow tang, a firefish, a scooter blenny, 2 cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, 3 CC starfish and various hermit crabs and snails. I am on my 3rd pair of Ocellaris clowns. I will put a pair in the tank (I always acclimate them for hours before) and they will do fine swimming around the tank. Then, a couple of days later one will disappear......and eventually the second will disappear. when I say disappear I mean there is no sign of them. any ideas what might be happening?

Never hear any clicking and the other fish seem to do alright. I've had one in there for 2 days now so I'm going to try to introduce another one this weekend.

Well, I finally solved the mystery. I cleaned out my powerheads that I was running without any filters and I found the little skeletons of nemo and nemo II stuck in there.

I have since equipped my powerheads with filters so this will never happen again.
