Our clowns go strange again with the light off. The bigger orange one dug a "bed" out for them using it's tail. They seem to be doing fine but it's almost like they are showing off for each other. They swim real slow and right next to each other like they are protecting each other. Here are some pics below..btw sorry for the sideways pic, I can't figure out how to flip them..

No one has any idea what they are doing? They are acting this way again today. The larger orange one lays in the bed and the smaller black one stays by the side but will swim around occasionally..

I think it's mating. I can be wrong but it looks pretty sweet to me if they are mating. :)

Thank u very much for the replies. At first I was worried but now they look to be protecting each other. If one swims away from the bed the other goes into it. Someone is always on watch!!!

I see your fire shrimp is hanging around - they must be spawning - he is looking for some fresh roe.

That may be true because last weekend I rearranged the rocks a lot better to replicate a real reef with ledges and caves. A few days later I noticed the clowns swimming weird and making rapid swim movements. Also the fire shrimp has been on the opposite side of the tank from where he used to be.

LOL...I think the stupid fish hosted the sand. Staying together and swimming slow is what they do all day anyway. My two like the corner of the tank and used to bond with the intake and output tubes of my canister filter. Mines has layed eggs...fish food
Fixed the picture for you...

Thank you flower for the pic fix. The orange one almost seems to lay down it's pretty funny. Is there an anemone that tank raised like?
