Clowns will be clowns!

Is it possible for clowns to lay eggs in the mouth of a hairy mushroom? These are my orange and white and black and white clowns that have paired off. It is hard to see. I have video but it was taking way to long to upload.

It's probably possible for them to lay eggs about anywhere - I had a pair that laid them in multiple places in the tank, - though usually there was a 5" long half of a large clam shell that was the favorite laying spot. . . I should have replied to this last nite - but thought someone else would have.

They layed the eggs in the mouth of the mushroom. And the mushroom ate them.... Why would they do that? Didnt they know the mushroom would eat them?
