Im thinking of getting a pair of clarkii clowns for my 12 gallon tank what kinds of anenome would be good right now I have 36 watt lighting

A BTA will work but you absolutely need different lighting .

ok is there any other thing that the clownfish will host besides an anenome?

Clownfish will host many corals , again you would need better light .

i know im restricted on lighting but do you have any ideas?

You are not going to be able to have anything for a clown to host unless you change the lights . I have heard of clowns hosting a fake anemone but chances are slim . If you wants clowns you don`t need an anemone .

I wouldn't put a pair of clarkii in a 12 gallon personally. They get big for clowns, percula's maybe.
