color changing clowns ?

ok so i got these guys about a month ago and they have both grown noticeably ... but the are also getting a lil darker in color gradually from top to bottom( tough to get a good pic with them moving all the time and bad camera

). they were sold as tank raised false percs. just wondering if anyone else has noticed a similar color change and how dark do u think they will get... they are about 2" and 1.5" so if they were gonna b black wouldnt they b a lot darker by now

Same thing, two TR ocels, gotten darker over ~2 months.
I just attributed it to the fact they're in a 12 gallon and never get away from the lighting.

i think it has to with age. ive noticed alot of small ones being light and the larger they get the darker they are
