If its a young trigger, could be! LOL
Seriously, just keep an eye out to see if the condition continues, or other symptoms develop.
How long have you had the fish? What are you feeding it?

Is it your picasso which is losing its color? Mine did the same thing. But I couldn't understand why either...I give him tons of treats like seaweed selects, and bloodworms, and brine, and clams but his color only darkens and looks good when he's excited. I also use both Zoe and Selcon and still my father's picasso looks better than mine! I dunno what caused it but he is still very healthy so I wouldn't worry yet.

I've had the fish for over a year (he's about 4" long and very well fed) and I feed him a squid-shrimp-scallop blend thats been soaked in garlic extract (home made)
I've been keeping a close eye on him and he's swimming and eating normaly. His color faded over night it seemed like. I thought it was that the glass was dirty.

Thanks, I was about to ask the same question! My 2 in picasso faded about a week ago. I'll try a different diet.
