The picture on the left is of an Acro Colony that I bought from my LFS. It was taken on 6/1 a few days after I added it to my tank. The picture on the right is of the same colony today (6/25) 3 and a half weeks later. I knew it was going to be teal colored but I wasn't expecting the purple accents! Let me know what you think!

Excellent as always attml!
I love seeing the growth rates and new additions to your reef!
What kind of circulation and lighting is on that tank of yours?

Thank you very much Rye!! Now If I just had a camera like yours I could do some real damage! :) I am running a Icecap PFO hood with 2 - 250w 10K Ushio MH bulbs on a standard PFO ballast and 2 - 110w URI VHO Super Actenics running on an Icecap 660 ballast. As far as flow, it is a 55 gallon tank and I have 3 powerheads 2 - MaxiJet 1200s (295 gph each), 1 MaxiJet 900 (225 gph), the return form my Fluval 204 (apx 120 gph) and the return from my sump which is fed from a Mag 7 pump (apx 180 gph - I don't have the valve all the way open).

That's some great coloration, Mark! That's an A. Millepora, correct?
Well, after playing around in Adobe I made something similiar to yours of my P. Damicornis
Take Care,
Graham

Buzz, Graham, DVS, NM Reef & Skilos,
Thank you all very much! I appreciate the kind words!
Buzz,
It is definitely a lot of circulation. Believe it or not I often worry I don't have enough for SPS corals though. There are still some areas of the tank that I wish had a little more flow.
Graham,
Wow! That Pociillipora looks great! You have some crazy polyp extension on there! Looking good! I belive that it is Acro Millipora but am still not 100% sure.
DVS & NM Reef,
BigMac, Graham, SKilos, RichardRendos, SteveWeast and a few others used used to tempt me very badly with their pics to set up a SPS tank and although mine is still very young I am glad that I did! Take the plunge - you won't be sorry!
:)
Here is a little more temptation (a few of my favorite sps tank sites)

Skilos,
It looks like that may be the same or very similar coral. It looks like you are getting some good growth and it looks very happy! BTW, is that clam in the pic a really green Squamosa?
Take care, Mark

hat a great turnaround in all these pics. It is amazing what a month and the right conditions can do for corals
