Colt Coral Question

Recently started corals and purchased a nice sized colt coral....
Going good so far but read somewhere that it likes gravel substrate and was wondering if it needs to be placed in the sand rather than perched between rocks like i have it now? :notsure: ...

Naso w/blue hippo and feather duster and colt coral....
If you look real closely to the left you can see my cleaner shrimp....

Dunno where you heard that, but you have it placed just fine.

Mine is placed in the rock work like you have yours and is doing great. Good luck with it.
