I have a very large colt coral with 5 stalks. What are the steps for removing one of the stalks and attaching it to a piece of live rock?

Cut a stalk off with a razorblade or a pair of very sharp scissors and rinse it in a bowl of tank water. Push a plastic toothpick through the stalk and rubberband the toothpick to a lr. Put the lr in an area of light to medium waterflow for two weeks. After two weeks, the frag should be attached well enough to the lr that you can carefully slide the toothpick out of the coral.
