Colt coral?

A few weeks ago I added a large chunk of colt coral. Everything has been fine up untill yesterday. I left a small bowl setting under the light blocking its light all day. So it closed up. Now today it still will not open. The only other thing I did was add a sock full of carbon that I rinced off with tap water.
Its really closed up today. anyone have any ideas ?? All my other coral is open and fine .. Thanks

It should be fine. Leave it alone, it's probably just mad that it didn't have light.

Well this thing still closed up and looks bad. It was opnig every day looked really good and now it looks dead.
The only thing I did was drop that bag of carbon in the sump and left the thaty bowel set above it brocking the light. Other than that nothing has been done.
Everything else in the tank is fine. Its time for a water change hope that purks it up.

Water parameters?
Does it have flow on it?
Is it in direct light?

The water is ok
everything test 0 or so low the test kit can't pick it up.
Im runing 1.022 or 1.023.
Its about 12" below the light same place its been for weeks.
I put more flow on it but its not helping.
My water is ro/di with reef crystals salt and I have no idea what the ph is. ive never tested it.
its still closed up . everything else in the tank is fine. Yesterday I changed 20gallons of water.
