Colt Coral

I recently bought a large colt coral for my 90 gal reef tank. The colt was doing fine for several days. Now it has started to pull in its polyps several times each day for a 1/2 hour or so, at a time. Is this normal for colts?

I think it may be a normal condition. I had one which I fragged, so I have a couple and they close up on occasion. If it is opening back up fully, I wouldn't be concerned as long as water parameters are good. Mine close up if a fish swims into it. Sometimes it closes up for no apparent reason. It is growing like a weed, so it must be healthy.
