colt habits

I have a 2 month old colt that has until now been doing very well---over the last 3 days it has begun to shrink (one branch may have swayed into a curly anemone and been stung)
Does the colt go into a dormant stage, or could this been the result of the anemone encounter?
Is there anything to do other then move it?

Leathers tend to do this from time to time. It may shed afterward. Good flow will help it shed. I would leave it alone unless it's to close to the anemone. Also make sure your water parameters are spot on.
