Colt stung by favia. Should I clip off the affected area?

I dont know what to do, ive never had to deal with a coral sting yet. There is one part of my colt which looks kind of limp abd purple. It looks like the rest of the coral is not happy because of it. Should I cut it off or leave it be?

I would not worry about it, except that I would make sure the colt coral is moved into a good location out of reach and then left alone.

I moved the favia to the middle of my sand bad... It looks awkward there but at least its isolated. Thanks for the help
