Not MY anthia, but a pic from Charleston's aquarium. Real hard to get a clear shot...People pushig everywhere, so excuse the blur...

oh, the color looks different in the previous pic.
but I did read that MH will fade their color

You can go back and deleat the HUUUGGE pics, just click the edit in that post. Please, TYVM for resize.
You can also crop the shot closer to the fish and still have good detail with a smaller pic.
Nice fish BTW.

hey dogstar what king of anthias is the one in that first pic the one thats kinda big. and did you have trouble getting them to eat when you first put them in the tank

Its my Sqarespot, the same fish in post number 5.
There a deeper water fish and takes time for them to adjust to reef lighting sometimes so they dont realy eat easy at first cause food doesnt look the same to them. My LFS said try live feeder gupies and live brine to get then started eating and slowly they learned to eat regular frozon food. Ive have him 3.5 years now.

I think I messed up when I resized that pic and it got sort of squashed making it look fat. :hilarious

Speaking of Anthias, is it an indication of anything if their fins are all closed as they swim? I see in some pics they are all fully open and displayed, but the one I have usually swims w/ the fins all retracted.

thanks dogstar that would make sence why she wouldnt eat..and then she would just stair at the food like she didnt know how to eat it....pritty funny fish though. im pry gana get another . for companionship.

You know clamped fins is not good with any fish. I would check out the disease forum and see whats there abot clamped fins....
