500g FOWLR I am wanting to add a map puffer with -
7in black spotted puffer
5in porcupine
9in Regal Tang
6in Regal Tang
5in Orange Shoulder Tang
5in yellow tang
4in Gold strip maroon clown
5in Picasso trigger
Had a 12+in golden puffer but started getting an altitude with the black spotted puffer so he had to go. Will the map have the same issue?
Thanks

You did the right thing by getting rid of the other puffer fish. For what ever reason the same type of species don't get along for any puffer. Since your fish are all about the same size you might be alright. I'd watch the Picasso he might be a little aggressive towards the tangs, but from all the tanks I've seen and had you probably wont have to many problems. A few fights here and there but nothing serious I would think. But I am not a pro by any means! Just a lot of reading and experience!

I had a Mappa several years ago; the lfs didn't know what he had. He didn't bother any other fish; but chewed up anything he could. Including acrylic tubes, a glass heater tube, lots of LR,and the return nozzle of a couple PHs. Cool fish, but I ended up trading him. As to him getting along; i think this is a classic "individual fish" thing. Maybe, maybe not but; Puffers are very easy to catch if it doesn't work. You have a very interesting and well thought-out fish list; I'll bet that the GSM clown is the bossiest fish, among all the bigger ones!

they should be ok tbh, but might not, if it had a go at the golden, then it could go for the mappa, but tis down to chance.

Is the Mappa a goat in water? LOL That's crazy that he ate everything! Well, here is a website I use for compatibility and they have a pretty good list.
