compatible?

ok i was wondering if a chocolate chip starfish would be compatible with a zebra dwarf lion and a frogfish. my tank is a 55 'case you didn't know

try it, it would probably be fine. if it doesnt work out you only lose 5 bucks. you could also try serpent stars, they do a good job on detritus. ive never heard of a lion or a frogfish eating a star. bo

Should be Ok. I have one with my snowflake, hogfish, maroon clown, and cleaner wrasse and have had no problems at all.
 
As usual i agree with grouperhead and pufferlover. Since the lion and frogfish swallow their prey whole, and don't leave too many scraps, you will need to feed the star. Offer food by placing it on or near his tube feet. I give my red general star a live mussel once every week or so as well.
