Concert

Hey to all you Metallica/GodSmack Fans - I'm going to see them on April 26th - after Tax Season Treat!!! I love both bands and haven't seen either in concert. If you have ever seen them let me know.

i love metallica and wanted to go to the concert so bad. my husband saw them in concert in 96' with C.O.C, said it was a really good show. i just found out offspring is coming to town here in april so i am going to do anything i can to go to that concert

Sorry guys/gals here I go showing my age age, the last concert we went to(about 5 years ago) was the Doobie Brothers, we left in the middle of the show. Too loud and way to many people dumping thier drinks on us. !:nope: Not my idea of fun anymore.:nope: Lisa

Got ya beat Lisa. The last concert I went to was Moody blues in 1980. Concerts don't sound nearly as good as albums, oops cd's

lol, i bought my husband a t-shirt at the r & r hall of fame: "if its too loud your too old!" j/k he is a die hard concert fan and always will be, he takes the kids to all the ozzfests, and all those mosh pit shows. last one i was at was a couple years ago, went to a couple that year, ted nugent & then elton john (by himself) awesome show that was.

Metallica is the the best band hands down I've ever seen live.

I haven't seen them since Rob took over for Jason though but from the shows I've d/l, they still kick.
I need to go to OzzFest to see Slipknot headlining the second stage.

I saw Metallica on the snake pit tour (Black album) Sounded really good but they were a little bit out of focus. I was about 10 feet from the stage. Good show, I would go again

went to the summer sanitarium tour last summer, Metallica, linkin park, limp bizcut, deftones, and mudvayne...linkin park puts on a killer show

metallica has always put on a killer show. i've seen em too many times to count and, no matter how much new crap they put out, they ALWAYS play their old stuff. last sanitarium i saw em at they did about a 2.5 hour set. just kept GOING!
i seriously think that only bb king and the rolling stones compare to them in regards to persistence in touring.
check this out:
during the slow portion of Master of Puppets they faded the song into Welcome Home Sanitarium then, when that was done, they finished off Master of Puppets. EPIC!!!!!!
best of all, they ALWAYS refer to their fans as "friends". that to me is just way cool. i remember like the 5th time i saw em at Irvine Meadows and james is like, "hows it goin friends? it's good to be back in irvine. how my friends doin up there in the lawn?!?!? right on! still got the fires goin i see. so we gonna have some more of those fireworks again brothers?!!
like, he totally remembered the last concert from several years back when we lit off all those blackcats!

Last concert I've been to was Lollapalooza last year. It was the 2nd time I've seen A Perfect Circle:happy:
