man i got one a lil while ago its like da coolest invert in my tank i jus took down my whole tank cleaned the sand because my sand was filthy and rocks full of algea nd i re aquascaped with two new live rocks i bought full of coraline and one brought a big purple feather duster well any ways back 2 the conch hes really cool i hope he keeps my sand clean, any info on these guys

My conch was pretty awesome too. I dont know what kind it was or anything. I know it was $8, and its my avatar.
I killed it on accident moving.
I miss my little conchy.

o my conch was hand picked from the wild, but it has spikes on the shell but the spikes aren't sharp i got mines for 5 dollars

queen conch, and they can get quite big, and yes they are cool little snails with there little trunk (snuffalugagus is what i have named mine) hahaha

My queen conch is called Hoover because of the long vacuum cleaner looking hose or trunk thing that it cleans up the tank with. My queen is growing really fast.....good thing I have a 200 gallon tank but she may get too big for even this. I hear that when they get too big they can knock over your rocks. Guess we'll just have to eat her when she gets too big! (Not really) Lesley
