Condi Anemone

Currently have a 55 gallon FOWLR that I've been considering throwing a condi or two in. I have a triple tube fluorescent strip light right now (50/50, actinic, & regular daylight) and was told that I do NOT need to upgrade to a T-5 or MH in order to put the condis in.
Is that true? And will they be okay with a bicolor angel, a clown, and a blue hippo?

i dont know who told you that lighting was good enough..but when i frist started i had the standard lights as well and bought a condi and i couldnt figure it out...he was shrinking he got down to about the size of a quarter when i bought my MH+PCs and now hes the size of a small dinner plate...the fish list is ok...if you want something that will host it, thats a domino hahaha if you can stand them little F-ers!

I agree with the above. Bare minimum is a good amount of PC. Which some will not necessarily agree with but my condy does well with it. Florescent are deffinately not enough for any anemone. PC you can get away with on condi's as long as you keep up on your bulb changes. as far as your fish list be warned that if your clown tries to host a condi the clown could very possibly be eaten. It is not a given but a deffinate possibility. I wont even touch the blue hippo because the tang police may very well drop by to handle that. All i will say is if the same person who told you the condy would be ok with florescent lighting told you a hippo is ok in a 55, Never ever ever go back there.
