Condi eating fish??

About a month or so ago I added a fair sized condi anemone (5-6" tentacles, 4" base/foot) to my 92 gallon tank. Three weeks ago a black and white clown disappeared, a week ago a valentini puffer and today I don't see my lawnmover blenny. Last night I did add a yellow watchman goby and he is nowhere to be found either, although he was brand new. Can these anemones eat fish, I believe I have heard that before. The tank and all the live rock has been set up for over a year. My other thought was the shrimp that eat them, the ones that come out at night. They all disappear over night and no bodies to be found. Help. Should I take the anemone back to the lfs? I don't know what else to tie it too and no new live rock has been added either. I don't want to loose anymore fish... :( I had my water tested and the parameters are good. Thanks for your help.

They are one of the most notorius fish eaters. I have got lucky with mine it doesn't eat anything its not supposed to. They are hit or miss it seems. It will either eat anything and everything it can in your tank or it will leave everything alone.

Actually carpets are on record to be the most aggressive fish eaters in the anemone world. But as a general rule all anemones should be considered fish eaters. And none should be considered reef safe.
