condi question

I have a condi in one of my tanks under t5's and recently the tips on one side have turned red while the other halfs tips remained purple. I've had it for about a year and just noticed the color change a few days ago. The only change is that I switched brands of bulbs. Have any of ya'll had one do this?

They get funky when they do that.
