I have a question does anyone know how a 2” yellow Tang acts if stung by a condy anemone 6”+. As my tang that I bought 8 weeks ago it had ich I treated with copersafe 4 weeks hospital tank. Put in display tank has looked acted normal last 4 weeks but Sunday morning looked like he was surface feeding never did that before then he would swim fast look to be intoxicated or on crack don’t know other then on tv, gills were going to fast to count would go all over tank fast in a few hours was on the bottom with nose in sand more upside down then up, by night time he was stuck to the filter inlet this morning he is alive but on the bottom hiding in the live rock I think dying. Was he stung, coppersafe liver failed, ich back in gills only none on fish looked real close everyday. Water Is A+ all tests tank is 75 gal over 10 years only has 2 clowns and some mushrooms on soft stuff have had condy anemone in the past for years with no problems other then they get into the return on filter this one is only 2 months in my tank. Any help to save yellow tang and was he stung??

Doesn't sound like he was stung by the anemone, although it is possible. This sounds more like the ich is in his gills and killing him slowly.
4 weeks with Copper is not enough time to treat ich, you got about half way through the recommended time frame for treatment and then put the tang back in the tank where the ich was able to start attacking the fish again and the copper probably weakened it. Copper really stressed fish out. I would take this guy, and the two clowns out of the tank and treat them all with hyposalinity for 8 weeks in a quarantine tank.

Thanks BTLDreef
I was thinking all the same things as for the 4 weeks I was dumb and started another tank 55 gal to put a new large yellow tang and a new trigger in with only live rock and sand. Anyway they got ich and with a new tank only two fish no reason to quarantine dumb now I have a new tang small treated for 4 weeks and a small trigger and a large tang all needing treated they will not all play good in a 20 gallon tank so put small yellow ich free 2+ weeks tang in 75 tank, very healthy small tang 4 weeks then like I said no visual ick he acts like hes crazy gills going very fast would go all over tank fast then later stuck to pump return then shy staying in the rocks no way he would live? This morning he is swimming around the tank the only thing he looks to be weak going a lot with the currents and swimming in counter clock circles as he swims never straight or clockwise and like he does not have all his senses. But gills have slowed down and looks like he may recover???? Anyone with suggestions or that has seen a fish stung by a condy anemone and get away? If so how did fish act and did fish live?
