Condy Anemone

I've had this condy anemone for a little over a month - the first week was fine, his tentacles were out and he was moving around trying to find a spot. Gradually he stopped expelling his tentacles - they got shriveled and are pulled inside. He still hasn't attached himself to anything and if he wouldn't enlarge his base/foot and then deplete it, I would say he was dead. His tentacles haven't been out for almost two weeks and he's just kinda laying on the sandbed. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well first, condys like to be on the rocks. Maybe try and move him higher up in the tank where there is more light. what kins of lights do you have, and what size tank?

I have a 20 gallon w/65 watt power compact lighting. I will try and move him up on the rocks again - sure can't hurt. I did that previously and he fell/moved off them.
