Condy Anemone

I got a Condy about 3-4 weeks ago and over the past week or so noticing smaller fish missing. So far two 3 stripe damsels, three yellow tail damsel cleaner wrasse and lawnmower blenny. I have 2 snowflake eels but don't think they are big enough to eat them. Only big fish are male and female blue jaws yellow tang and blue hippo tang. Think the anemone is the cause?

Thinking more one of the eels now. Fed some half clams tonight and both came fully out. One has gotten pretty thick than was not too long ago

My undestanding is while snowflakes don't "go after" fish generally, they will eat one if it fits in their mouths. Also if they are hungry.

Thats what I have read and heard before as well. I feed them both every day with tongs so wouldn't think they would be hungry. I took the condy out and just waiting to see what might happen to blue damsels left. Honestly won't hurt my feelings if they do get eaten just more curious now

A lfs I go to, was showing me that the lion they had was an eater. Threw the fish in, the eel grabbed it before the lion! It too was a snow flake

bright side is not plan on keeping the damsels when the new tank is finished this spring and will be more of a predator tank

New one will at least be 200 gallons. Actually that is one of the ones was thinking about especially from Australia
