Condy Question

First off I'm new here and love all the information. Second I have a 55g saltwater I've had running for about 2 months now. Currently have 2 clowns, a fire goby, yellow clown goby, a lawnmower blenny, skunk shrimp and a peppermint. I got all my live rock from a local guy that has had his tank running for years. All my parameters are good at 8.2 pH, 0, 0, 0 and salinity at 1.024, temp 79F. I got a Condy anemone 2 days ago and he seems to be doing great, he has really opened up since I got him and seems to have moved to a spot he likes. I also have about 5wpg and was told by someone else that 1 that is not enough and 2 since my tank is fairly new that it wont make it and will most likely die and spread poison through my tank which I obviously dont want. Suggestions? Thanks

What type of lighting is it? This will determine if your watts per gallon is sufficient for it. If you have std Florescent or power compact lights then no your lighting is not strong enough for long term success of this animal.
Other alternatives, HO T-5 lights with individual reflectors @ the wattage you specified will work just fine. So will metal halide lights at that same wattage. HTH
