Condy under a rock

My condy has moved underneath a rock into a cave area which gets very little light. His foot is attached to a rock and he lays sideways - tentacles are usually open, occasionally all pulled in. I've had him a little over a week and he's been in this location for about 3 days now. My first anemone. Do I just let him be? And hope he'll come out of the dark place if he wants or needs light?

Im no anemone expert here (I dont even have one yet) but I think its best to let him be. He is most likely just adjusting to your tank and perhaps the lighting by hiding abit. I think it takes at least a few weeks for them to get used to everything and come out. I wouldnt worry to much, as long as you have the right lighting and your water conditions are good.
Hope that helps

I have the same problem with my condi. I placed him on the tallest rock in the tank and he hide under the rock attacher to a smaller rock. I picked up that rock without disturbing him and placed the rock on top of another so he could get light. The next day I found him in the cave shriveled up.
So I placed him in the corner on top of another rock and now he lays under that corner rock.
Same question, Do I leave him be???

Just let him be, unless his health goes down hill from not being under light. Its best to just leave them be, eventually they will move to the spot that they like. Dont mess with it anymore- you could stress it out

Thanks, He has moved where part of him is under the lights.
Just not where I can see him from the front of the tank.
