condylactis anemone keeps contracting itself, is this normal?

we have had our anemone for about a week and a half its contracted itself at least 3 times and its tenticals kinda hang out and r brownish grey color? after it contracts a few hours later it will come out and look great! then will contract itself again? im very concerned can anyone help?

WELCOME to the site!
It is sort of how they go potty. They absorb what they can use of the water then dump it. The fact that is comes out all happy indicates nothing is wrong. An unhappy anemone tends to roam and not stay put.
