ok guys for 2 weeks now ive been using b-ionic calcium buffering system, magnesium superbuffer dkh, ph buffer and turbo calcium and ive started to drip kalk..ive been doin all this but i still cant get a reading when i do a dkh test. my calcium is always at 350 and cant seem to get it higher my magnesium is around1250 and after all this i still cant get the coraline to increase on my live rock my ph is usually around 8.38.. should i stop adding all this stuff and just stick to one thing or continue the same

It may be your test kit is NG. Can you get a different test or take a sample to the LFS?

It may take a little longer than two weeks to start seeing Coraline growth spurts :D (patients)
But keep the calcium and alk levels up and it'll come...
Oh, and get a new test kit, you should have some kind of reading.

yeah if your adding all that and the readings arent changing I would look at the test kits and get a second testing from someone else to compare readings to .

ok guys i just noticed that all my filter sponges are gettin clogged up with this kinda whitish stuff... could it be ive got to much calcium or im gettin some sort of chemical reaction that makina solid thats not suppose to be there ?
