connecting 3/4" locline to 1" PVC. Anyone have photos?

I have seen several threads talking about connecting 3/4" locline to 1" PVC since it looks better on the return line going into the tank. Does anyone have photos showing how this is done? I am hoping photos may clear up some of the confusion. Thanks,

You need a Loc-line 3/4" NPT Connector and a 1" coupling and 1"x3/4"ftp reducer bushing. Then you can add your loc-line and nozzle of choice.

Veni,
1. Do I need the reducer bushing if I can get this coupling -"Coupling Fitting - 3/4 inch FPT x 1 inch Slip"?
2. If I am not mistaken, the "Loc-Line 3/4 inch Ball Socket x MPT Connector" (from another site) will line up with the threads from the coupling and attach together?
3. If all is correct above, then all I need to do is connect the "Loc-Line 3/4 inch Ball Socket Flexible Tube 6 inch" to the ball socket x MPT connector? If so, how do I make a water tight fit? Is this where the tool is needed or am I completely off base?
Thanks!
I prefer the look of the locline instead of having 1" pvc in the tank but I just need to make sure I know exactly what I am doing to avoid a flood in the basement!

Thanks!

All you need is a 1" slipX 3/4" FPT adaptor. Reduce right down from 1" to 3/4 threaded. Likewise a 90 of the same configuration will work if you want to use it instead, might be a little cleaner. Use pipe tape to seal the connection. If this is a return from sump or fuge, be sure not to forget your syphon break!

Plumbing project is complete. The lockline was a lot easier to work with than what I expected. Wish I would have tried it a few years ago on my last tank instead of having white PVC line showing in the display tank!!!
THANKS for the assistance! On to the next project, updating the lighting!!!
