cons on using Kick Ick??

I have a 92 gallon fish only tank...heavily stocked. I just added a Powder blue tang and he is showing signs of Ick. I have been soaking food in Kents Garlic Extract and leaving the lights on. For the most part, it seems like it's not getting worse and the fish have a normal appetite. I am considering using Kick Ick as another way to help fight the parasite. The last time I used Kick Ick it didn't work and I lost all my fish. I actually looked like some died not even from ICK(because there were no parasites on their body). Has Kick Ick been know to harm fish? suffocate? Will leaving the lights on for 24 hours disrupt the fish sleeping habits therefore increasing stress and making it easier for Ick to take over? How about running actinics 24hrs vs daylights? Any advice is welcome.

Hi,
Are you sure the medicine is what killed your fish? I think that I used about 10 to 20 percent more than I was suppose to and the fish or other tank creatures did not even look stressed. I used a dosing interval half way inbetween that of a regular infestation and a heavy one. There are a million other things that could have killed your fish. I dosed for an entire month without any problems. Good luck,
