Converting 10G FW. Skimmer?

I'd like to convert a 10g to saltwater. For lighting, I'm looking at an 18 inch Current USA Nova Extreme 2x20 watt T5 HO 10K/460nm. I have no idea what to do for filtration/skimmer. I have a small HOB filter that I don't expect will be useful. I plan to have live rock, corals, a small fish or perhaps a shrimp, and CUC.

search on here for the aqua clear mod. You can turn the aqua clear hang on the back filter into a mini fuge system which is all I really had with a little carbon now and then.
