Converting to Live Sand

Currently I have no live sand, just normal (type unknown)in my tank. I am now getting a new tank and wanted to seed the existing sand into Live Sand. I was wondering what the ratio is when doing it.Would be like 50:50 or more live then plain sand or is it what ever you can afford, just need some thoughts.

My understandinf is whatever you can afford. I have in my 37 gallon 50lbs quikcrete and 20lbs LS. In my 80 gallon I did almost all LS. The 80 looks better than the 37. I would put as much LS and you can. Like they say more is better.
