My new tank has a black acrylic insert between the overflow boxes on each end. I'd like to change it to a blue one even if I have to overlay it over the black. Does anyone know where you can get some of this blue acrylic?

just look up plastic in the yellow pages and call around. most places that work with plastic in any real quantity will have some colored scrap laying around, or at least can order you a quarter sheet. you probably want to ask for 3/16 or 1/4 thickness. I know the place down the street from me has colored scrap for sale, but that downst really help you in dfw

When you call them, be sure to ask for a price on Komatex. It's same thickness as the acrylic but instead of being shiny it's a flat color but a lot cheaper.
