Not really, and only the smallest of fishes.
He shouldn't get much, if any, over 6", and like above, only tiny clowns, gobies, etc... Anything over 1.5" wouldn't cause concern. They are actually pretty shy/timid fish, and tend to get picked on. The common misconception is that Marine Bettas are related to groupers, which is not the case. Their closest relative are actually Assessors.

Thanx! I had a green clown goby about 3/4" and haven't seen him since the "Comet" arrived. Thank you for the info.
