cooling an aquapod

how do i install a second fan to my aquapod 12? i also wanted to melt out the extra bars like inner dragon did. i know i should use a pc fan and can pick it up at radioshack but how much do they cost. ever since i added a second power head my temps are around 82 degrees.( it used to be a constant 76 degrees) thanks for the help :help: :help: :help: :help:

I work at Radioshack. They should have a 12 volt on clearance for like $5 that does high rpm's. That one is on a heatsink, but all you have to do is screw it off and cut off the harness that plugs into your motherboard.

there is no need to melt out those bars......it was ten times faster for me by just using small wirecutters to clip the thin pieces of plastic from the inside, once you open and take off the hood

if you want to install a 2nd fan this is what you must do.
1st open hood
2nd remove everything under the hood, clear plastic thing, lights, and reflector.
3rd install fan
4th put it all back together
Its really not that hard. takes about 15-20 mins
