cooling fans

i was wondering if anyone would know this. i have an old computer that i use for parts i was wondering if i wire the puter fan to a regular outlet plug would it work???? any ideas ???? if that works it would make a nice cooling fan for my swt.

Not sure what voltage most Comp. fans use but check it out, should say I quess somewere on the fan....if its low voltage like 12 or 24v then it would need the/a transformer with it too. If its 115 0r 120v then just splice a cord to it and plug it in....

most if not all computer fans are 12 volt...all you need is a transformer and your good to go
