Copepods (again lol)

So I've heard that Copepods can live in filters? How does this work if it is true?

They can live anywhere in the tank. If they're in your filter, they will be everywhere.

Cope pods can live anywhere in your tank,just as long as conditions are favorable. They're fun to watch, they can move rather quickly when you shine a flash light on them.

what kind of filter do you have? i have a whisper or aqua clear (whatever) HOB that i gutted and stuffed w/ rock rubble. when i add pods to my system, it is here that they get dumped with a little left over for some spot feeding via turkey baster.
