Copepods counting

i see pods for sale as 500+ 1000+ all kinds of numbers how do people count the number of pods they sell in a pack?

they weigh the amount of eggs they hatch. factor in mortality rate then theve got an estamit and just so you no those arent exact amounts that their addvertising

ok kool that sounds good so if you are not growing them from eggs i guess you have no way of knowing.
