Get a lot of LR. Copepods are "pods". Dragonets may not take sea monkeys...it would be hit and miss. I would give it some time (about 6 months) and let your pod population grow.

Shista, do the poor dragonet a favor and don’t buy it. Sea monkey? Is that brine shrimp? If so they have zero nutritional value…again, don’t buy it

Not to hoard in on Shista, but how do you know if there is copods in your tank. Mine has been set up for 2-3 years now.

Man, at night when i turn my lights off i get a flash light and just look at my tank and i have tons of them, also they grow in my refugium like crazy. They just started populating my tank over time.

Shista - If you want to have enough copepods to keep a dragonet happy then you may want to seed your tank every now and then. I bought my copepods and rotifers at ***deleted*** I have been raising them for over a year. My mandarine and scooters are VERY happy. Have had the mandarine for over a year. If you read enough and do enough research there is no reason why you should not try it. They are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK! :cheer:

I think thats great, sea monkeys that is. That really takes me back and I bet I am not the only one here whos first experience with keeping a water pet was sea monkeys. Technically my first tank at 6 years old was a saltwater tank if you count the brine solution I kept my sea monkeys in. :joy:
