Copepods?

Yesterday I noticed hundreds of small white creatures
(0.1-2mm) on the glass where there is a slight coating of algae. They have numerous legs radiating out in all directions and two long antenna on one end. I'm assuming these are copepods...(I put in a 1/2 a bag from swf into each of my 24g aquapods a week ago)
There are no fish in either tank...I'm assuming they are self limiting in population..
any help?
thanks

sounds like copepods to me, yes their population is self limeting, they go through a high density phase then die back to a sustainable amount for the set up.

What was the purpose for dosing with pods in the first place may I ask? and if you dosed your tank with the pods a week ago, did you recognize them a week later?

I put them in for general tank health/food
The bag o' pods I got from swf had nothing visible in it so I suspect they were all larval, and have just now grown to visible size

Some fish only eat pods.
