copper meds

hi i found a local guy who is selling his used 10gal aquarium for a good price. i asked him if he used copper meds in it and he said yes, but it was 8 years ago.
does the copper last that long in the tank or am i safe to create my new nano reef?

Truthfully? I suspect your safe. But 10g tanks are so cheap...

Agreed. I can get one around here for 8 bucks. I would not bother with a used one.

What 8 bucks! I am getting ripped off. I have to pay 10 if I want one. ha ha. I think you will be say, but as said it is just as cheap to get a brand new one.
