Copper removal ?'s

Is there any difference in the Kent heavy Metal Sponge and cuprisorb? I have been running cupri to get out the copper in my tank. Also I have read on here about copper chelators, what are they and how are they used? THanks all....as usuall.

I dont know if one is better than the other. Any copper "remover" will (or should) remove copper from the water column only...it will still be in your tank. The seals, LR, LS (if you have LR and or LS), etc. will still contain trace amounts of copper. I hope this was used in a QT tank, not your main tank :nope:

Its in main, didnt actually use it to treat anything, got a hold of some bad water from LFS.

use the cuprisorb in conjunction with poly-filters
